Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the shipping method selected. You will receive an email when your order has been received, when it has shipped (with a tracking number), when it’s out for delivery, and when it arrives.
• Standard Delivery: Typically arrives within 6-7 business days from when you place your order.
• Express Delivery: Typically arrives within 3-4 business days from when you place your order.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
Tracking information may not be immediately available and can take a couple days to become active in our system. If you don't see any updates right away, please be patient and check back later.
Yes, we do offer expedited shipping for an additional fee. Expedited shipping options can be found on the checkout page when you place your order.
Expedited shipping typically takes 3-4 business days from when you place your order.
At this time, we only ship within the United States. We hope to be able to ship internationally soon!
If you place an order for a subscription plus other items, the entire order will ship on the 15th of the month as one order. The additional items will not be sent separately.

We have a monthly subscription available for our Butter Pack. We also have a Popcorn of the Month Club subscription that can be purchased as a recurring monthly subscription or a prepaid, 4-month subscription.
We made our Popcorn of the Month Club for all our fellow popcorn aficionados who love trying new flavors. There’s an auto-renewing monthly box option, or a 4-month prepaid option where you will get one box per month for four months.
When you purchase a Popcorn of the Month Club subscription of either type, you will be sent your first box 1-7 days after the order was placed and all subsequent boxes will be sent around the 15th of each month. Therefore, you may get your first two boxes within a couple of weeks of each other and the rest will be about a month apart. We also include a fun surprise in each box!
You can cancel your subscription through the customer portal at any time. If you would like to resume your subscription after cancellation, you can purchase a new subscription.
By submitting your order for a monthly recurring membership, you authorize us to process the recurring charge to the credit or debit card you have provided until you cancel. If you cancel, you will receive no further shipments as of that date. If a shipment has already been processed prior to cancellation, it will be shipped as per the normal shipping and you will not receive another shipment thereafter. Cancel before the 13th of the month in order to ensure you don’t get that month’s box.
We’re always working on new flavors and ideas, so the flavors in our subscription are constantly changing! We typically make a custom themed box for each month with unique flavors. Some of the flavors that have been in past boxes include: Ranch, Parmesan Thyme, Za’atar, Hot Wings, Spiced Pie, & Pizza. If you have a flavor idea or suggestion reach out to let us know!
Recurring monthly subscriptions will auto-renew until you cancel. Prepaid 4-month subscriptions do not auto-renew.
Recurring billing will only happen with monthly subscription orders. If you select a 4-month prepaid subscription, you will only be charged at the time of purchase for all 4 months. But we’ll remind you that you are about to run out of popcorn in case you want more!
We charge a flat rate of just $2.99 per subscription box via USPS Priority shipping, no matter where your box is heading. (Shipping the boxes typically costs us $6-$10).
Product Questions
Our popcorn pods can be enjoyed for up to a year! Just make sure to store them in a cool, dry place. You won’t want to leave them in your car on a hot day or your popcorn pods may melt! In fact, it’s a good idea to watch your delivery notice carefully and get them inside as soon as possible, especially in the summertime.
There’s a 'best by' date stamped on your box for more guidance.
Absolutely! Our popcorn pods work well in the microwave with the right setup. Be sure to take your pod out of the wrapper first. Then, choose your device. We recommend our custom microwave bags or glass microwave popper, both available on our site.
You can also place the pod in a heatproof bowl covered with a lid or plate, use any of the other silicone or glass microwave poppers out there, use a whirley popper, or use a movie theater style popper -- anything suited to work with oil. The only thing we would not recommend is using an air popper, which does not work as well with our pods.
Make sure to check the volume allotment to ensure you have enough space for a pod, which makes about 2 quarts of popcorn. You can find popping instructions and how to pop for your desired cooking method here.
All of our popcorn is gluten-free! Most flavors are vegan, but Butter (along with a few others) is not vegan. You can see nutritional info & ingredients for each box in the photos on the product page. For our build-your-own pods, the vegan flavors are marked with (V) and sugar free flavors are marked with (SF). We also don’t use any peanuts or tree nuts, but we do have sesame oil in a couple flavors.
We have many flavors available for you to try! We sell individual boxes of Butter, Rosemary Garlic, Jalapeño, and Salt & Pepper. Our Variety 5-Pack contains Butter, Rosemary Garlic, Ranch, Salt & Pepper, and Jalapeño. Our Build-Your-Own Box has 20+ flavors to choose from, including Za’atar, Parker House Roll, and Buffalo.

You’ve never had anything like a “popcorn pod” before! We’ve combined the heirloom kernels, healthy cacao butter base, and fresh ingredients in perfect proportions that make it fun and easy to make. No, stop! Biting into the pod will hurt. We recommend unwrapping our popcorn pod and placing it in a pot over the stove to enjoy fresh popped popcorn.
Each pod makes three FDA-recommended servings of popcorn (a serving is about one cereal bowl), or about 8 cups total. Pop the whole pod to make a big bowl or break it up to make smaller servings and save the rest for later.
Absolutely! Our popcorn will still pop, just follow the same directions. But don't hesitate to reach out to let us know they came broken or melted. We want you to have the full pod experience!
The melting point of the popcorn pods is about 97 degrees fahrenheit, which makes shipping in the summer tricky and can sometimes lead to melting if not handled carefully by the mail provider or if left outside, which is why we highly recommend getting your box into a cool place as soon as you receive it. While a melted pod is certainly not as pretty as the original version, they do work just the same.
100% post-consumer recycled material. Please give it another life and recycle the wrapper as well as the box.

About Cheerie Lane
Cheerie Lane Farms is the original name of our fifth-generation family farm in Iowa, where we came up with our popcorn pods and developed our popcorn company. Inspired by a robust family history of caring, family values, and fun.
Two cousins, Kate Greer and Brad Schulte, banded together to start the company based on a belief that most people are missing out on popcorn in its most delicious form: a warm, homemade bowl of heirloom kernels made with healthy oil and flavorful from-the-garden ingredients.
They believe that popcorn is best made with people that you love, as it creates the most wonderful smell that brings everyone into the kitchen as the anticipation of the popping begins! They were inspired by how their grandma would make it on the Cheerie Lane farm for practically any occasion.

The popcorn is grown in Central Iowa by one of Cheerie Lane’s co-founders, Brad.
While we strive to be at a price point that makes our popcorn accessible to anyone who wants to try it, the truth is that our popcorn is expensive to make because of our commitment to high quality ingredients and manufacturing methods. We start with non-GMO heirloom kernels, grown by hand on the farm using organic methods, free of pesticides and individually inspected. We use cacao butter, which is a much healthier and a more antioxidant-rich base than the traditional hydrogenated oils used to pop popcorn. It’s also one of the most expensive. (It also tastes way better, in our humble opinion.) We use real, from-the garden ingredients, like lemons, rosemary, and jalapeños, and all our flavors are all-natural and preservative-free. Finally, each perfectly portioned popcorn pod is wrapped by hand in sustainable materials before being delivered to your doorstep.
